Portfolio
The best of the best.
You want to begin a portfolio with some background about you. What is your inspiration? Why do you take photos? What do you see through the lines? Is this a possible career path. Often a short quote or bio makes a nice introduction.
Most websites will suggest you begin with your strongest work and close with your second strongest. Make use of the light box and display your photos in a way that is pleasing to you. Always include captions which might be a name for the photo and could include information about the location, time of day, or any special challenges in capturing the shot.
I began taking photos when I was playing with my mother's phone. It seemed easy and intuitive and I really liked showing them to other people. This was several years ago. More recently I got my own phone and began experimenting. The following collection is a result of my efforts. Enjoy.
Photos with water.
My first day in the wood. This is a photo I took on vacation. It was cold and we had just headed out on a three mile hike when I snapped this. I didn't notice much at the time, but afterwards I say how the light and fog were filtering the trees and I thought....WOW!.

Later, on the same day, we came to q quiet cove. We had launched our kayaks and were exploring. The reflection was pretty awesome and I was wondering how it would look through the camera.

This was later on the same day. This was open water. The wind was still and you would coast silently when capturing the scene with the camera. I didn't take many photos...but I think you get a sense of the calm. Photography seems to be about more than just the image as this photo shows.
